SS Tier:
SS Tier Genshin impact characters are those that are some of the best characters in the game and would help you to level up and clear the top floors of the Abyss. Here are the SS Tier Genshin impact characters.
Bennett:
Bennett is an excellent support character in the game. He is a Pyro and sword character that can deal decent damage, apply Pyro to vaporize aid teams, buff your party members and heal them if they are low on HP.

Xiangling:
It is one of the first characters in the game and was known for its high damage. The identical still stands true now, except some Pyro characters have replaced her. She is flexible with articrafts, has some of the best-scaled constellations in the game and is also one of the best damage dealers used in the Abyss.
Hu Tao:
It is the best Pyro unit in the game because of two reasons: she deals insane damage with vaporized reactions and her C1 constellation makes her charged attack consume no stamina. She works best with units such as Yelan or Xingqiu who, deal and apply continuous and constant Hydro damage.
Ganyu:
Ganyu is a DPS/Sub-DPS unit in Genshin Impact. Her elemental skill is excellent for buying time by changing the focus of opponents, and her elemental burst, “Celestial shower”, starts an ice shard shower, dealing continuous Cryo damage. It also boosts cryo damage by 20% if you are inside the burst’s range.
Albedo: ( S Tier )
It is a strong Geo unit, one of the best units after Zhongli. His elemental skills help him do AoE damage every three seconds. This damage scales off of his defence stats; hence, using a defence-based weapon such as the Cinnabar Spindle is crucial for him.
A Tier:
A-tier characters are those that are great with specific compositions but aren’t that great by all themselves. Most of the Genshin impact A-Tier characters are support characters.
Yoimiya:
Yoimiya is a DPS character that is easy to build and use. However, not many use her because there are so many better Pyro characters in the game than her. For example, take Hu Tao; her overall damage is far more significant than Yoimiya’s, mainly because they deal splash damage, whereas Yoimiya’s attack locks on a single target.
Yanfei:
Yanfei is also a Pyro character and suffers from the exact same issue as Yoimiya. Hu Tao is a better Pyro character than her. She uses a catalyst, and given how many catalysts there are in Genshin, there are some that can pair pretty well with Yanfei.
B-Tier:
B-tier characters are those that can shell out decent damage but have been mostly outdone by other identical characters and suffered power creeps. Either way, they are still okay and can act as decent replacements for S and A-Tier characters Genshin.
Diluc:
One of the first characters in Genshin Impact that suffered huge power creep is Diluc. At the start, he was one of the best Pyro DPS characters, but Hu Tao soon took the crown.
Klee:
Klee was also one of the victims of the Genshin Power creep, although the significant issue with her is her slow attack speed being a Pyro catalyst user.
C-Tier:
C-Tier characters are considered average or below average in this Genshin character tier list. If a character is included in the C-tier, it means that there are better alternatives than in the game.
Razor:
Razor is not a bad character, but currently, there are characters that exceed his damage output. Overall, he is a decent character with good damage output and will help newcomers level up quicker.
Dehya:
Dehya is a Pyro, a claymore user with an unusual fighting style. Dehya can make a decent DPS but tolerate her overall damage output and power creep.
D-Tier:
D-Tier characters in the tier list are just straight-up bad and do not bring enough value to include in the team.
Amber:
Amber’s overall damage output isn’t that great, and almost every player switches her out as soon as they get new characters.
Xinyan:
Xinyan damage output is terrible and doesn’t scale that much. She also shields, but the identical one isn’t that tanky and breaks easily.
