  • Now click on @ icon (iMessage).

  • Click on the Apple icon on the top-left hand corner of the screen.
  • Choose System preference option and select Bluetooth option.
  • Under Devices, select the bluetooth device you want to remove from the Macbook pro.
  • Single click on the “X” button to remove the device.
  • You may be asked to confirm that you want to remove the bluetooth device from the MacBook pro. Click on the Remove button.

Backup your data

  • To backup your data from MacBook pro, connect the external storage device.
  • Click on Apple icon on top left corner of the screen>> Goto System preference option>>Click on Time machine
  • Choose the external storage device and single click on “Encrypt backups and usedisk.”
  • After choosing the backup disk, Time Machine should immediately begin making a backup.

  • Choose the name “Macintosh HD” in the sidebar and the format as “APFS”.
  • One Click on the “Erase Volume Group” option if you don’t find this option Click on the “Erase” button.
  • Once done, leave Disk Utility and return to the “Utility Windows.”
  • Choose “Reinstall macOS” then single click on the “Continue” button and follow the instructions on the screen to install macOS.
  • After the macOS has installed the “setup Assistant” will open, skip the setup Assistant and turn off your mac.
