How to Turn On Find My app on your iPhone:
To find your AirPods with your iPhone, you must follow these steps first:
- First, you need to enable or Turn on the “Find My” app. To do this, open the “Settings” option and tap on your “Name”.
- And tap on the “Find My” option, and check that it is On. If it is off, tap on the slider next to the “Find My” option to turn it to green.
Note: The next time you pair your AirPods to your iPhone, they will automatically be added to the Find My app. Suppose if Find My app was disabled before your AirPods went stolen; you will not be able to find them. Only this app can be used to locate your missing or stolen Airpods.

To Find the location in this app, follow these steps:
- Tap & Open the Find My app on your iPhone device.
- Tap on Devices.
- Select the AirPods from the list and check on the map to find where your AirPods were last connected. You will also see the nearest street address location under your AirPods name.
- If the Airpods are nearby, tap on the Play sound option. You will see a pop-up again; tap on the Play Sound button, and then both of your AirPods will start beeping, but the sound will be low.
- If the Airpods location is far, tap on Directions. This will show you the directions to where your AirPods were connected previously. And tap on turn-by-turn directions to get options for walking, Car, Bike and more.
- Lastly, when you are almost there, you can tap “Find to Locate” your stolen or missing Airpods. With this aspect, your iPhone device will tell you whether you’re nearby or farther away from your AirPods so that you can get close enough to hear the beeping sound.
Note: If you want to find one Airpod at a time, there is an option left, right, and mute. You can keep the one Airpod mute, and now you hear the beep sound of only one Airpod.
How to Turn On Lost Mode on your Airpods
- Single tap on the “Find My” application on your iPhone Device.
- Now tap on the Devices option and select your AirPods.
- After selecting, Scroll up from the button and select the option Activate. You can see this option under “Mark As Lost”.
- Next, tap on the Continue option.
- Here you can give your phone number or email. This will allow other users to call, text or email if they find your Airpods. After giving your details, tap on Next.
- Finally, enable the “Notify When Found” option and tap on “Activate.”
